At multi-gigabits per second data rates, received signals from cables and circuit board traces suffer from degradation due to bandwidth limitations as well as connector and through-hole impedance mismatches. This degradation, in the form of intersymbol interference (ISI), means that symbol bits interfere with each other and consequently limit data rates. Xintronix's receive equalization technology recovers data in the presence of severe ISI.

Xintronix offers flexibility of choice for multi-gigabit per second equalizing I/O. Our technology will be deployed in a series of very lower power, very small, differentiated IC products for USB 3.0 and other next generation serial buses. Implemented in standard CMOS, our advanced technology will also be available as IP.
